Dr. Matt Stahl joins
Equine Veterinary Associates
GRAND ISLAND, NE – Equine Veterinary Associates, a full-service
equine clinic specializing in sports medicine, including lameness
and surgery, announces the addition of Matt Stahl, DVM, who joins
the practice staff as an associate.
Dr. Stahl is the son of Gaylen and Suzie Stahl, of Juniata, Neb.,
and is a 1998 graduate of Adams Central High School. Dr. Stahl joins
Equine Veterinary Associates, which is owned and operated by Dr.
Doug Brunk, after spending a year of internship at Idaho Equine
Hospital, a large referral center with 11 practicing veterinarians.
His focus was on equine surgery and internal medicine.
Dr. Stahl received his DVM from Kansas State University in 2006.
He was graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Veterinary
Science and Animal Science from the University of Nebraska in 2002.
“Equine Veterinary Associates is an ideal practice for me
to join because of my high level of interest in surgery and lameness,”
says Dr. Stahl, who also says he saw a little of everything during
his internship at Idaho Equine Hospital. “I’m especially
excited about the cutting edge diagnostics here; this practice is
unmatched in its equipment, instruments and expertise outside of
a university setting.
“Equine Veterinary Associates has a reputation for practicing
at a high level of quality that’s unmatched across the country,
which is why the client roster represents most states and Canada,”
he continues. “It is a very efficient practice with strong
veterinary technicians who keep things running smoothly.”
Dr Stahl admits he’s happy to be back in Nebraska and close
to home. He enjoys hunting, fishing and Huskers football.
