Video Endoscopy
Video endoscopy allows the EVA practitioners to visualize anatomical
structures in the horse; therefore, it is a key diagnostic tool
for many conditions. It’s commonly used to examine and evaluate
the upper respiratory tract, upper gastrointestinal tract, urethra
and bladder. Equipped with a video monitor, clients can see these
anatomical structures during the exam. Problems with the upper
airway are a common cause of decreased athletic performance or
the slow recovery of an animal during the training routine.
